			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.aints.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/remote_logo.png"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-477" title="remote_logo" src="http://www.aints.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/remote_logo.png" alt="" width="300" height="64" /></a>Today I picked up a new app for my BlackBerry Playbook called <a href="http://www.splashtop.com/" target="_blank">Splashtop</a>.  It is a Remote Desktop application which uses your Gmail credentials to connect the app on the Playbook to the &#8220;streamer&#8221; application, which acts as a server, on any Windows or Mac computer you have.  You simply install the streamer on your Desktop at home (or wherever) and sign into your Gmail account through the application.  Then launch the app on your Playbook (it is also available for iPad and Android tablets) and sign into Gmail through this app also.  The apps then connect automatically and you can see your desktop from the tablet, and control it.  The connection is a bit slow, as expected, but considering all that it is doing, it really isn&#8217;t that bad.  Right now I am on a WIFI connection at work, so I&#8217;m interested to try it from an open connection at home or elsewhere.</p>
<p>Today we leave for Hawaii.  I&#8217;ll be posting, hopefully every day, about our trip so keep watching.  Of course I will share some pictures too.</p>

In the <a href="http://www.johnchow.com/evil-blog-contest-win-a-nintendo-wii/" target="_blank">Evil Nintendo Wii Blog Contest</a>, I asked people to link to me using “root of all evil.” If you do a Google search for that phrase, you’ll see I am now<a href="http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&amp;q=root+of+all+evil" target="_blank"> </a><a href="http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&amp;q=root+of+all+evil" target="_blank">ranked number three</a>, just behind Wikipedia and RootOfAllEvil.com.</p>
<p>While it’s fun to rank for root of all evil, not many people search for that phase. However, according to the <a href="http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/" target="_blank">Overture keyword selector tool</a>, there are over 44,000 searches every month for make money online. If I can get on page one of Google for that phrase, it would mean a flood of new traffic.</p>
